Cat Keen

Mrs. Catherine Keen Hock, from Four Oaks, NC, is a 2007 graduate of UNCG earning the MM in Clarinet Performance and a 2005 graduate of Wake Forest University receiving the BA with Honors in Music Performance and a minor in international studies. In August she will begin work towards a DMA in clarinet performance here at UNCG. While at Wake Forest, Mrs. Hock was a William L. Poteat Scholar, and winner of the Concerto Competition and Giles-Harris Competition for Performance. At UNCG, she was a member of the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Clarinet Choir. As a member of the professional clarinet quartet Obsidian, she performed at the 2008 ClarinetFest in Kansas City, MO. Her primary teachers include Michael Waddell, Eileen Young, Edwin Riley, and Kelly Burke and she is an alumnae member of Alpha Phi Omega, Sigma Alpha Iota, and the International Clarinet Association. Mrs. Hock works for the UNCG band office and is an adjunct faculty member of Wake Forest University.


Brad McMillan

Mr. Brad McMillan, a native of Elizabethtown, NC, is currently pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Saxophone Performance at UNCG. He has previously studied at UNCG (BM) and Indiana University (MM) for degrees in Saxophone Performance. Brad has performed with the UNCG and IU Wind Ensembles, IU Concert Orchestra, Columbus (IN) Philharmonic, UNCG Symphony, Casella Sinfonietta, and the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra. His affiliations include Mu Phi Epsilon Music Fraternity and the North American Saxophone Alliance.


Megan Morris

Ms. Megan Morris, from Charlotte, NC, is a rising senior, pursuing a Bachelors degree in music education at UNCG. She has served as the Vice President of Ritual for the Kappa Gamma Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota. Megan has performed with the UNCG Symphony Orchestra, Gate City Camerata and recent played string bass for the UNCG University Band.
